Discover a new way to create and refill candles with the 100% plant-based Wax Sand intended for use with our Constance Vase.
How to Use
Pour the Wax Sand into your Constance Secret Candle Vase, ensuring the cavity is well filled to a minimum depth of 10cm.
Trim your chosen wick to size and gently insert it into the Wax Sand, leaving approximately 0.5–1cm of wick exposed above the surface.
Light as you would a traditional candle. As the candle burns, only the wax surrounding the wick melts. Once completely cooled, the remaining unburnt Wax Sand can be reused for your next candle.
Each bag contains:
- 1kg of plant-based wax sand
- 20 × 5cm Candle Wicks - Approx. 8 hours burn time per full-length wick. We recommend cutting each wick in half to create two 2.5cm wicks, perfectly sized for a two-wick arrangement in the Constance Secret Candle Vase.
- 5 × 10cm Candle Wicks - Ideal for a four-wick arrangement in the Constance Secret Candle Vase. Simply cut each wick into four equal 2.5cm lengths.

Vase Care
Made entirely from ceramic, the Constance Vase is designed to be handled with care and enjoyed for years to come.
To preserve the finish, keep the exterior water-free and clean only with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Light, gentle dusting is recommended as needed.
Avoid soaking, rinsing or using abrasive cloths, cleaning products or chemicals, as these may alter or damage the ceramic surface.
Candle Safety
Always trim the wick to approximately 5mm before lighting and keep the wax surface free from debris. Never leave a burning candle unattended or place it near flammable materials, draughts or other heat sources.
Keep out of reach of children and pets, and always place the vase on a stable, heat-resistant surface while in use.
Allow the wax to cool completely before handling, moving or refreshing your candle.
Natural Variations
Ceramic is a naturally expressive material, and subtle variations are an inherent part of its character.
Variations in colour, tone, glaze, texture, surface markings and finish may occur from piece to piece. These characteristics are particularly evident across our Raw and Expressive finishes and are part of what makes every Vase individual.
While we photograph our pieces as accurately as possible, the vase you receive may differ subtly from the product imagery shown online. Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and individual screen settings.
These natural variations are an intentional characteristic of ceramic production and are not considered faults where they fall within the expected nature and finish of the product.

Kind words from our customers
I much prefer candle sand, but I usually have to use a lot to fill a container, so this is a really great idea and the vase is stunning.
