What is the Secret Constance Vase?
The Constance Vase is a sculptural ceramic interior piece featuring our unique secret, patent-pending concealed internal design.
Created to offer the presence of an XL candle while using significantly less wax, it is designed to be refilled, restyled and kept season after season.
How does the Vase work?
Hidden within the vase is a specially designed shallow internal chamber that holds the candle wax closer to the surface.
This allows the vase to maintain the appearance of a beautifully full XL candle without requiring the entire vessel to be filled with wax.
What is Candle Sand?
Our Candle Sand is a plant-based, paraffin-free and fragrance-free wax supplied as fine wax granules. Simply pour it into the Vase, insert a wick and light.
Is the Wax Sand included with my vase?
Candle Sand is sold separately. However, when you purchase a Constance Vase and add René Candle Sand to the same order, you will receive the Candle Sand complimentary where this promotion is stated on the product page.
Why is the Candle Sand fragrance-free?
We wanted to create the atmosphere and ritual of candlelight without introducing another fragrance into your space. It allows your perfume, flowers, cooking and the natural scent of your home to exist without competing fragrance.
Can I refill my Vase?
Yes. The Constance Vase has been designed specifically to be enjoyed again and again. Once your Candle Sand has been used, simply refresh the wax and replace the wick ready for your next burn.
Are the Constance Vases handmade?
Our ceramic pieces are individually produced and finished, meaning subtle variations in colour, glaze, texture and surface are part of their character. These natural differences make each RENE piece individual rather than mass-uniform.
How long does each wick burn?
Our 5cm wicks offer approximately 8 hours of burn time. Longer 10cm wicks are also supplied for occasions where an extended burn is required. Burn times are approximate and can vary depending on conditions and use.
Will my vase look exactly like the website photography?
Every effort is made to represent our finishes accurately; however, ceramic production naturally creates small variations between pieces. Screen settings and lighting can also affect how colours appear.
How should I care for my Vase?
Allow the vase and wax to cool fully before handling. Keep the wax surface clean, trim or replace wicks as required and avoid using abrasive cleaning products on the ceramic finish. Full care instructions are available in our Care Guide.
What candle safety guidance should I follow?
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts, soft furnishings and other flammable objects, and keep out of reach of children and pets. Please follow the complete safety instructions supplied with your RENE piece.
Can I return my order?
Eligible items can be returned within 14 days of receiving your order, provided they are unused and returned in their original condition and packaging. Visit our Returns & Exchanges section or contact hello@renestore.co.uk for assistance.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
